Hope House, Community Emergency Support Services was awarded, the Homeless Prevention Program (HPP) for Morris County from the NJ Department of Community Affairs (DCA), this year to assist Morris County residents that are at imminent risk of homelessness through no fault of their own.
Homeless Prevention Program (HPP) for Individuals and families living in Morris County, who are at risk of homelessness can seek services through the Homeless Prevention Program at Hope House. The program provides funds for up 3 months of rental arrears or relocation costs of a security deposit (up to 1 1/2 months) and up to 2 full months of rental assistance. Homeless Prevention Program (HPP) assists with emergency rental assistance, rent in arrears, housing search and referrals to our food pantry. Call to set up an appointment to be screened for eligible HPP services. The Homeless Prevention Program is the newest program offered at Hope House under Community Emergency Services (CES) programs.
