Jesus, help us to see that we are your love letters to a world desperate to be loved. We ask that you would show us that each one of our stories is valuable to your kingdom and that you want to use us to spread your love to the ends of the earth. You have written the gospel love story on the tablets of our heart and it’s a story that needs to be shared. We pray for the courage and conviction to share with others. Amen.

“Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. “ Colossians 3:12

God of the prophets, God of Christ: we are reminded today that your blessings do not necessarily follow the logic of the world. We pray for a more just world. Help us to stand in solidarity with the oppressed and marginalized; show us your presence in the faces of those the world forgets. In a society divided so many labels we alone have created, remind us that we are created in your image, each of us a beautiful reflection of you, each of us your beloved child. AMEN
